Rainbow Toning on Silver

    I microwaved an ancient coin trying to clean it. :whistle:
    If you put it in a glass of water it wont arc. :secret:

    I Like your 64. I purchased an original shot gun roll of 59s and these two were at each end of the roll. I can see why they call them shot gun rolls, because they really do resemble the old paper 4-10 shells I remember as a kid. The rest of the coins in the roll where all very nice BU strikes and very "untoned". I keep these two to commemorate by brothers birthday, god rest his soul.

    Thank you. Yours is just stunning. Can you imagine that toning on a Morgan Dollar? I'll bet that's enough to bump the "market grade" up five grades!

    Thanks, it keeps getting darker and more intense over the years I've had it.

    I get tickled at the prices that this type coins bring. Market grading is over the top on this IMHO.

    I just as soon buy a BU blast white one and let it tone for me over time. I'm working on a process that will give it just that opportunity.
