I think he meant that CAC missed the boat on this one. At 67, why didn't they give it a gold sticker.
Same coin. Same exact coin. The only thing that changed was the holder and the presence/absence of a sticker. Yet the value was extremely strongly affected. This exemplifies everything that is wrong with the US coin market. The coins themselves mean nothing. They cannot hold any significant value outside of a plastic holder. The plastic is where the value is placed, not the coin.
