I think what Mike meant was, sometimes it doesn't pay to resubmit for grading. I could be wrong.

No, I think that he meant just the inverse. Sold 3/03/19 for $2500, and on 9/15/19 for $9000!

    ^this is what I meant

the toning all over the face makes it hard to see the luster, but I assume in hand the coin glows

Yes that's what I got out of it, that the 68 grade sold for a ton more
    on the exact same coin.

If I changed doesn't to does, would that get me off the hook?

I think he meant that CAC missed the boat on this one. At 67, why didn't they give it a gold sticker.

    Cause it’s a strong 67 an a coin but a maxed out c coin at 68.

I’d buy it at pcgs 67 cac. Not at ngc 68 no cac

Same coin. Same exact coin. The only thing that changed was the holder and the presence/absence of a sticker. Yet the value was extremely strongly affected.

This exemplifies everything that is wrong with the US coin market. The coins themselves mean nothing. They cannot hold any significant value outside of a plastic holder. The plastic is where the value is placed, not the coin.
