Ok I got some family driving from TN to go KY to HOPEFULLY get some new lincolns. For alot less than $100 a roll. I'll let ya know when they come in. Told them to get all they can haul back.

Well, that's probably the only place you can get them, and only a few.

    Ebay at$100.00 plus

I am just waiting till my Bank teller buddy call's.
$100.00 is way to much for a 50 cent roll of coins

I stopped at my bank today and they still don't have any 2009 Lincolns.

From what I've heard there on hold till ??? There's an overload of coinage outnow so thet don't want to add more yet IMHO.

There is tremendous demand for these new designs currently. It could take some of these smaller banks up to six weeks to recieve their first order. I'm going to be patient.

They are driving to Hodgenville and searching the city for the cents.

i take it they are releasing the pennies there first because of Lincoln birthplace, its 2 hours and 45 mins to there from where i live, my parents probably won't let me drive there dang

All we need to do is wait and hang in there. The mint will produce billions of these coins. Better than paying $100 a roll on ebay.

Well put... and most people are not figuring in gas money when they drive two hours to get their hands on these future common date coins.

Not to sound rude in anyway but it is a good reason for some "older" people to get out of the house and road trip. And to help their son and grandson out is pretty cool of them. And they also get to see and experience the birthplace of Lincoln. Doesn't really seem like a waste of gas money to me. IMHO. Please take no offense to the response just wanting to justify the reasoning.

This is kind of funny. I've been to Hodgenville and I can just imagine the banks beseiged by coin collectors! :)
