I went to the store yesterday and I got three quarters in change.

All three were all bi-centennial quarters with the D mintmark.

What are the odds of that?

or does it happen all the time and I just never noticed?

Yep - lucky odds. The most I have seen at work is 2 in one week.

Yeah sounds like it, it's been happening alot more lately with this wonderful economy. Like today I was at the coinstar machine, and found 3 1964 silver quarters in the rejection slot.

Nice. The only thing I have ever found in one of those is a penny that the machine apparently tried to eat and the zinc layer was showing. :p

Yeah I've found some nasty looking coins in the rejection slot.
