I'm new to coin collecting and I think I've been had as well, I'm pretty sure this Lincoln is also fake, just a gut instinct. Anybody?

I paid $75 for mine, Jeankay found one using our numismatic directory here at CT for literature and get hers for less:kewl:

 

It's a slot. The "coin" is a bank, as it says on the front. The slot is where you put the money.

 

In the sense that it takes up real physical space, it's as real as they come.

The original pics over on PCGS sure had me fooled -- I thought the coin was real.

 

An interesting forgery to be sure, you're right though at first glance my thoughts were: something is off. I've seen dozens of examples of counterfeit s vdbs in the last two years though.
