My new ancient coin came in today. Here is the sellers description. I bought it from Barry P. Murphy. (Is he a big seller?) This coin has been dubbed "peen-man" in my strange household.:whistle: What do you guys think of the coin & what do you think the grade and value would be.
I saw that and I was like "No way!?!", lol. Nice coin!! I'd say VF/XF? The obverse is an XF, but I'm iffy on the reverse. It is still a nice coin IMHO though. :thumb: Phoenix
BTW, thanks for sending the link to my Mom. I wouldn't have gotten it if you hadn't sent that. :high5:
What you have there is a coin from London so as I live in London give it back LOL I have to say that it is a lovely example though :high5:
Here is one like mine on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/CONSTANTINE-I-A...50720463QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0
Yeah that is another thing that has attracted me to ancients. 1700 year old coin = commemorative silver dollar, in terms of price. :kewl:
1700+ yr old coin does not equal 1 ounce gold...wish it would though?: http://www.forumancientcoins.com/catalog/roman-and-greek-coins.asp?vpar=55&zpg=38737 stainless
