That is a nice clean coin in spite of the variety.

I think the obverse is a 66, but there are too many marks on the reverse.

How about just the "O" in ONE? Or below AMERICA?

I will post a better shot of Rev Sunday morning!

Rim's I will have pull it out and check for sure but most of the nicks are on the holder. I know for sure about the nick by the O on one and the other by US of America but I take a better picture and post them Sunday!

So I dug up some of my toned Lincolns and took some new photos using my new method. These are very difficult to image, I like silver and nickel better.

Bought them some years ago, never unloaded them. Think I might need to lighten my load soon.

Oh! My! He stoops to the lowly Lincoln.

Nice ones even if they are not S VDB's.

Now that is what a Lincoln should look like - and I am not just talking about the color. Lincoln has a full beard and locks of hair over the ear (in stead of the usual blob, if anything). That is one SWEET Lincoln!

I have not posted a pic here for a while, so here is another I got today. I did not think it was going to make it. The seller got NARU'ed for some reason, but still sent it after I filed with PayPAl. I like it! PCGS 65 RB.

    Awesome 1917 Leeg!

Here's the same blue coin.. Just with more accurate pictures. I'm not sure if it will change any of those MS 70 opinions.

I am going to guess that the experts are going to say that coin has seen some svdb, but it is still a nice coin.
