I just saw these four Penny coins & thought what the heck, let’s start a Great Britain Penny type set. These four coins are PCGS graded 62RB, 63RB, 63RB, and 64RB. Now my task is to find equally attractive Penny coins from the years prior & after. Wish me luck. Any advice you have regarding putting together the type set would surely be appreciated. Very best regards, Collect89
Nice coins , always like the ones with Queen Victoria . Wonder if English collectors get upset if someone calls them a cent ? rzage
Very nice coins! Thalia Elizabeth especially approves of the 1900 Penny-- as it's 100 years older than she is. (We have one too, but not as high a grade.)
Well for ones minted since 1971 I guess the term's technically correct lol... though I've never heard anyone call them that.
I'm sure that I'll be buying both slabbed and raw coins. I'll try to post photos of the coins as I add to this set. Very best regards, collect89
You resurrected my old thread. I found these three coins soon after. They had been stored in brown paper envelopes in an old-time collection. The envelopes had a soft cloth lining. I was very happy when I took these three coins from the envelopes & found them to be so bright. Very best regards, collect89
