Im looking for shows anytime in the year that are large, but not huge. Ie 50-100 dealers. If anyone can recommend any I would greatly appreciate it.
SLC typically has 4 shows per year with around 50 dealers. Will say though, you will see the same guys you see at other shows. There are a few local guys here that you don't see elsewhere, but only a few.
The St. Louis area has a show this weekend with 110 dealers. There are also usually summer and fall shows with closer to 150 dealers. Not sure if thats too big for you or not.
The show in KY is around that size. About 5 years ago I bet there was only around 20 where as 3 years ago there was closer to 100-120. Speedy
Not sure what part of the US you're in, but here's a list of different shows in California, most of which are smaller but also includes the Long Beach and Santa Clara shows which have hundreds of dealers. http://home.earthlink.net/~beedon/calshows.htm I've done the Plaza Las Vegas show and will be there next week too - it's a nice sized show with about 80 or so dealers. Buena Park is in a few weeks and is about the same size.
There is a nice show but probably 100-150 dealers in Livonia MI at the end or April.. I know Stainless, Phoenix21 and several others are going to that one. Going to try and make it myself.
do you go to all these shows? i live 30 minutes from the livermore show. is that a good one. ive never been to one but would like to.
Mostly all the Southern California shows, and a couple of the Northern California shows (San Jose, Sacramento, Santa Clara), but I have not gone to the Livermore show so I don't know how large it is, however, you can contact the person on the Livermore show listing for more information.
No, however I think many of the much smaller shows would not warrant a flight to go them. All of the really big shows are usually so well publicized that they are hard to miss (like fun, Long Beach, silver dollar show etc.) Thanks for the tips everyone.
