I'm in the mood for seeing some really nice coins! (well actually I'm always in that mood, but that is beside the point):D

I the true spirit of this thread, I will post my favorite coin in my collection. It is a 1886 Battle Creek Morgan Dollar NGC MS64*. Anyone who has seen my posts has seen this coin in the signature line. Anyone who has visited my homepage has seen it a little larger. I have nick named this coin the pink eye dollar for obvious reasons. It is not the highest graded or most expensive coin in my collection. However, if someone told me that you have to sell your entire collection and can only keep one coin, this is the one I would keep. Enjoy!

This 55/55 is the one that grabbed me into Lincoln variety collecting.

But this beauty makes the decision very difficult. One of my best coins,

This is not my most expensive coin, but my fondest. I knew of this coin since I was a child and new it was valueable and my grandmother had for most of her adult life. I don't know if her mother gave it to her, or where she got it but she collected coins in and old Whitman album and most of her coins got messed up. This one and an 1908 S stay preserved for the most part even though they lived in a humid area, and coins weren't stored well. I received most of her collection when she passed away, and I would never sell this coin accordingly.

    Jim,
Those are a couple pretty Lincolns. That 55 almost looks like a Lehigh coin.

Are those 2 both 67's or did that 39 make 68? Man, they are solid.
