    Hey all,

Just wondering what this is with the D in GOD and the U in TRUST? Is this a die chip to the edges?

There is evidence of contact on some of the other letters in IGWT. This is damage not die chips.

Damage? These are raised areas. Damage would infer inclusion type hits. The areas appear to be lower than the original D and U letters, not "smooshes" to them. The bottoms of the letters still appear to retain their edges. I know I could be wrong but do not appear to be typical damage it that is what it is.

Look at the line contact running under IN. The WE also has slight damage due to the same coin. The U is much lower than the rest of the letters in trust or they would also show the same as the WE.

    Looks like circulation hits.
    DEFDAM - Definitely Damaged.

The damage to the "U" is very slight, but the "D" definitely took a hit. Note that the bottom of the "D" is not as wide as the rest of the letter.

The bottom of the D has been flattened, hence it's damaged as it took a small hit. Same with the U but not as strong and the stain hides it a little.
