Double oops! Sorry @Ryro. Third times a charm.

"Next up: a coin you still don't have a clear identification on."

Unidentified for a few years now. Someone suggested Magnesia ad Maeandrum with Meander pattern below the bull.

Vulcan is tough to find on Roman coins, and the only Vulcan type not exceedingly rare is usually sloppily produced:

I have always been fond of the portrait on this Valerian provincial of Alexandria Troas:

Do Byzantine coins count? I am not exactly sure if they need to be considered ancient or not.
In school what I learned was that Middle Age starts in 476 but nowadays this is not clearly determined.
Anyways.... SB 1681 Theophilus (829-842 AD). AE Follis. Syracuse mint. Theofil Basil, crowned bust facing with short beard, wearing chlamys, holding cross on globe / Large M, XXX to left, cross above, NNN to right, theta below. SB 1681, DOC 30.

Next - obverse showing two persons.

Note - if the Byzantine follis is not correct for this topic, please ignore and another member should post the current request - facing bust.
