quarter mile time. and not too much work to get the munci in i had to use a diffrent bell houseing and clutch. but yea i run at all the NMRA events in my area. i hold a few records.
1. A mercury dime 2. 1967 Buick LeSabre (ahhhh... the memories in THAT thing ! ) 3. 40 years off and on
yea its a tube car looks like a stcok fox body thouhg im not really pushing 580 hp out of it like i sad in my org.post im more towards 625 thats crazy you show my 1 guy with a 625 hp 302. and yea i got good money into it when my grandfather died he left me 340,000 to make my drag racing wish come true after the build i had 236,000 left.so yea you could say it's a high doller car.lol. i keep it at my brother in laws house cuz my home owners innsurance would not even cover it.
1. 1858 8/7 Flying Eagle 2. 1970 Mustang, 427 Camer, 2 650 hollies, 1200 B&W Blower. 4 speed, 411 rearend. Gas mileage: 3 gallons to the mile. 3. 40+ years.
Me too. Im a car guy then a coin guy. Yea, brad here rolls with the big dogs. Not the 1/8th mile guys. I'll be runnin with him as soon as he gives me some money for a big block jk or a twin turbo system for our 383 stroker
yea you could run with me now all i have to do is set my delay box to like 10.050 or what ever you run. it's haveing a dial in box cuz i can still run all my boy's and still beat most of them cuz i been driving since i was 8 years old. it's funny seeing a 7 second mustang going down the track runnin 13.000 cuz it sounds so good you can hear it rumble from a mile away and it's funny having a 165mph 60 foot time and only going through the traps at like 110mph . i got a good RT light i stay between 0.0033 and 0.00057 one thousands. and for all of you who don't know thats a pro light . the brain takes 0.00070 one thousands to respond to movement so realy i am takeing off a hair before the light turns green but i don't red light cuz it just counts as a deepstage. in laments terms my rt light is good enough to hang with NHRA pro's like john force and tony shoemocker and such...
Sounds like a blast. I met John Force at Lebanon Valley, got his pic and autograph. So I just have 2 questions: 1. Are you on 100% racegas? 2. What is your trap speed for an all out pass?
1) The usual Lincon cent, and the never ending roll searching for the 1955DDO and the 1909s VDB 2) 1964 Mercury Comet. Also the first car in an accident. Not my Fault. 2nd car was a 1968 Chevell SS 396. AH! the good ole days. 3) 43 years, off and on. Now very on.
If you wish to stay on the topic of the thread - fine. But if you just wish to discuss cars, please take it to the General Discussion forum.
yes i run on turbo blue and as far as a all out pass on motor i ran 8.71 at 182mph on spray i ran a 7.65 at 233mph
With that in mind what why don't you see any coin shop's as sponsers at race tracks ....think about it I have never seen one...
Hi all! This is my first post on this board even though i have been lurking for several months now. I couldn't resist this topic/question: 1) Probably wheat pennies found in my piggy bank and dad's pocket change. 2) 1979 Chrysler New Yorker, the one with the "rich corinthian leather"! It had a 360 cubic inch engine that would pass anything on the road except a gas station! 3) 32 years. I was given a lincoln cent and jeffereson nickel folders for Christmas in 1976 by my dad, who used to collect coins.
