Another arrival this week is this very rare Mark Antony Æ minted at Balanea that I purchased from CNG. I am very happy to add this to my growing collection of Antonian eastern types.

    Mark Antony. 37-31 BC. Æ (24mm, 8.77 g, 3h). Minted at Balanea.

    Obverse: Bare head right.

Reverse: BAΛANEΩTΩN AP CY - Uncertain deity driving quadriga left.

    Reference: RPC I 4456.

Start a new thread and ask for ID help.

Upload a photo using the "Upload a File" button--the middle button on the right below the text box.

Be sure to include the size and weight with the photo. It helps to tell us where you got the coin and anything else you know about it, such as what the seller told you about its history.

It's best to ask about just one coin per thread. If you need need with more than one coin, put each coin in a separate thread.
