Its like the fakes wont stop coming, but i also wont stop reporting. 1885 Trade dollar with typical signs of casting and applied toning. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1885-Trade-Dollar-1-US-Silver-Dollar/224255108764?hash=item3436a5669c:g:bf0AAOSw2gBfws-3
Learned about his one yesterday. I believe eBay was already notified - and it was taken down from their site. I'm a bit of a newbie, myself....but for the uninformed this is a tragedy - and companies like this ruin the hobby. https://www.initialsun.com/product/...Zwnh1sPPBPdD8VAt4tMJizTy3FCiR2r7jWygoAyox0Np0
Yeah... I've seen these many times. Each time, it's with a difference company name. They seem to steal images from all over the internet. For example, that wooden presentation case they show is actually from Danbury Mint, a legitimate (albeit overpriced) seller. The Danbury Mint sells these for $79.95 PER coin (and that excludes shipping!), as compared with the fakes selling for $200 for the ENTIRE set. What's funny is that in that ad for the fake Morgans, they seem to grab any photo from the internet that they can - including PCGS slabs, NGC slabs, Danbury Mint slabs, 2x2 coin flips, rolls, ICG slabs, Mint Bags, etc. I even saw a COA from National Collectors Mint!!! You gotta laugh.... Here's the link to the legitimate site from Danbury Mint. https://www.danburymint.com/coins-a...ction-of-morgan-silver-dollars/5423-0016.html
