Hello! Can someone please tell me something more about these.... They are in UNC condition. I'm interested in their circulation and price. i need it, Sorry offers to trade or sell only allowed after 10 full posts then they have to be posted in the Open forum thanx!!! ilija the link:
ilijav.... I for one have little knowledge of World notes so I wish I could help but cant! There are otheres here that can and will show up soon. The point I would like to make to you is that this Fourm has pretty strict rules and unless you have a minimum of 10 post's you really cant mention the word sell in that context! The only Thread items can be listed for sale in is the "Open Fourm" Just thought I would give you heads up in the event your Thread was cutt! Regards, RickieB
unfortunately, the notes you have are from a country that is 1 of the top 5 for for world notes sold. Bosnia, Yugoslavia, Indonesia ect... they all have notes so worthless, that they are some of the most sold notes on Ebay. By worthless i mean in purchasing power.. not allways numismatic value. in UNC perfect condition, those notes are- the 10 - $1.00 the 25 - $1.25 the 50 - $1.50 the 100 - $1.75 the 500 - $3.50 the 1000 - $4.50 hope this helps. The notes wont make you rich, but in themselves, they are rich with history
1. i'm really sorry because i've mentioned the word "sell" on the wrong place in the wrong time... i won't make such a mistake again, now when i'm warned. thanx!!! 2. yup, i knew that these banknotes are not very valuable, but i was just wandering how much they are on the world market. even these 13,5 dollars is a great price for something i can buy here for few dollars oh, and, daggarjon, thanx a lot!!!
Dont worry about the warning (as long as you heed it ) we all make mistakes from time to time The values i mentioed are book values, prices garnished from selling on Ebay or any other auction site could easily be very different. The notes i have i got many many years ago and they were given to me. Others that i have i picked up at various times in lots and bundles.... i really dont think i ever specificaly bought any... although aside from the hyper inflationary period, i dont think i have any.
"although aside from the hyper inflationary period, i dont think i have any." you meant that you have yugoslav coins from hyper inflationary period? i saw on your page that you haven't sorted them yet, so i might help you with coins and money from this area (if you need any help).:smile
I have quite a few notes from the region that I have yet to list and scan LOL some of them are realy lovely I realy must get them sorted out LOL
De Orc, if you need any help, i'll be glad to help. My main interest are coins, but i have paper money too. And, since in this region we almost haven't used coins for almost a decade, most of money used is - the paper one.
I dont think i have any coins at all from that region, but i guess with as many world coins that i have, it is possible i have 1 or 2. Most of the coin pages on my site are devoid of any material ... for now i have a ton of coins to post, just havent had the time to image them all, and post them. My main focus the last year or so has been on getting all the paper money up to the site. I got alot of new material coming in, including some of the less common Yugoslavic and Bosnian inflationary notes. Pick-121,122,123,124,126,127, 132,133,134,135 and 136 from Yugoslavia, and with the Bosnian notes coming, alot of the notes i already have, so these are in better condition, for the most part, i bid on the auction mostly because it had notes i didnt have, and the price was too low to resist! I got a large lot of Zimbabwean notes coming in, as well as a ton of notes from India. in all, i think i have about 100 notes coming in.
during the war and inflation years, Balkan countries used to print a lot of different paper money issues every few months. I'm still trying to fill my collection with some banknotes, but it's not so easy to find them in UNC condition. Since, some of them were used for only few weeks anyway, i guess you guy have heard, or you maybe even have the famous Yugoslav banknote of 500.000.000.000 dinars it was a really interesting time: people were terribly poor, but they still had worthless thousands of billions in their pockets)) here's the photo of that banknote:
