It looks like it’s been run over and beat up by a hammer.

Brian, I know others have mentioned it in your other threads. Your pictures are impossible to work with.

1- place coin on flat surface that is either completely black or completely white.

2- try to get indirect lighting from three sides of the coin to eliminate shadows.

3- hold camera with two hands directly above the subject coin.

4- take picture as close to the coin as possible before it goes blurry.

5- upload picture into your post. When the coin is uploaded you'll see an option for thumbnail or full size. Please, pick full size so we can see your coin clearly.

    Hope this helps.

You don't need to repost it. The coin is just damaged and worthless.

Please help me to evaluate. Describe how that could have happened at the minting process.

I’m not only looking at pics online of various errors associated with certain dates and mint marks.

I need to get a camera to take better pics. Even with my iPhone they do not come out that good.

SMS set were only produced in 1965, 66, and 67. I believe they did make 1968 Uncirculated coin sets in 1968 but once the coin is removed from the packaging, it would be hard to tell if it came from the set after it's been in circulation. Your coins are worth melt value. As of today melt value for the 64 is $8.40 and the 68 is $3.43
