People should really only buy things from the Mint if they actually want them and plan on keeping them.

For example I paid $87.75 for the V75 ASE because I wanted one and think it’s a cool way to commemorate the end of WW2 with a coin.

I didn’t buy it because I thought the price would go up.

Even if it was selling for $1,500 right now I would still keep it because I wanted it.

It wouldn’t even bother me if it was only worth the 1oz silver melt value because I plan on keeping it.

Doesn't matter what it is, everything is going to come up for sale again. You get a bunch on eBay and it's a price race to to the bottom on cheap stuff or something happens and they need to sell/didn't like it as much as they thought and so on and they put it at a lower price. There's also people searching for high grades (nothing wrong with) and selling the rest. Bags and rolls sell big time for people hunting for high grades and varieties and errors

Thanks :). I hope it was a good strike.

Im not very good at telling if a strike is a good one or not lol.

Would it help if I took some better pictures of the obverse and reverse?

Now I’m curious to know if I got a good strike. xD

Got an email from Bullion Exchanges hyping the rarity with the ASE's PCGS rated PF70 FDOI going "for as low as $925".

    Hi
I tried for over an hours and got Zip. You people who got the V75 are very lucky, very nice addition to your collections or nice way to make some money if you sell them. Congrats

I finally got mine, too. Took more than two weeks. I feel lucky and happy to add it to all my other pseudo-hard-to-get ASEs, like last year's W mint mark enhanced reverse proof. Deciding whether to send it to PCGS. All of last year's coins came back as 70s.

There’s not really anything to lose, if it’s a 70 you almost doubled the value and if it’s a 69 you’re still way ahead from what you paid.

They were never 700 raw. Price is fairly steady as most 400 to 450

edited as not sure why that turned caps

Given this precipitous decline in a month I expect to see them at $150-200.

    Darn boy quit misquoting!

    Who said $700?

Point it out, or retract it, if you're man enough.

Where did he quote you at all?

You expect to see them at $150-$200 when? 2045? Without a date that is a totally worthless prediction.
