As I am new to coin collecting, I have found that a lot of coins are described as DDO. The image of the letters of IN GOD WE TRUST appear to be doubled. However, the letters in the word LIBERTY are not. Is this a DDO or an example of a worn die. Please help.
Some of the lettering appears flat and shelf like. IMHO I think it may just be mechanical doubling which really doesn't hold much of a premium. I am no expert on this so definitely wait for others to chime in.
