To keep up with the '83 die break trend i found one that was interesting. At first I thought it was a lamination, but upon looking closer, its just a nice die break on the sw side of the memorial with breaks running from it and one on the nw corner through the t. Also, obverse seems to have a few small CUDs forming at the rim where it has indented. I am going to apologize AGAIN for the bad pictures, but this is what you get when you opt for the Android over an iPhone.
The corners of the Memorial (NE, SE, SW & NW) are the most common places where die cracks will form. There is nothing special about them. If you were to examine the business strikes from every year the LMC's were produced, you would find millions and millions of them. To me, they are not errors. They are just evidence of an abused and overworked die. I know that you didn't say they were errors, but they aren't that interesting, either. By the way, you're photos are one heck of a lot better than many we see on these forums.
Interesting as you also have some die clashing going on in the reverse bays. Sure sign that that die was on the way out.
You are correct about the photos, but as mentioned, a fairly common place to see breaks. The finger print is killer and should be traced for ownership. LOL
