    A Morgan date set? Let's see...1878-1904, 1921. That's 28 coins. Where do you get 32?

My set was a date set PLUS "at least 1 from every" mint set PLUS all of the New Orleans mint years. Which is 30 coins (if I'm wrong then I have too many coins or too few).

I don't know, as the associate has the holder, half way around the country in NJ, which he indicated as having 32 openings. I should have received the holder first, but I've so far gone through thousands of coins looking for missing dates. Almost done!

Thanks for your correction! It's appreciated!! Rich

P.S.: Who knows what he has? e.g.: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Complete-M...DefaultOrganic&_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109

Oh. He probably has this album or similar. 28 dates + 4 mints = 32 holes.

New acquisition. For me, first Morgan above MS66. PCGS has 348 at grade, and 220 higher. PCGS has graded 276,233 1881-S Morgans.

I have been watching and following this date/mm for a long time. It was one of my last 2 Morgans. Last stop for a complete set.... 93s.

    Lot of Morgan's on sale at GC, HA, Ebay....seeing lots of 1878 7/8....1880-S, 1881-S, 1882-S....1880's CC's.....1896.

Looking to spend $100 - $600 depending on condition...any thoughts or coins that I should look to or stay away from ?

You’ll have to narrow it down a bit for your taste. Up to $600 on a single coin, or do you want multiple coins? Looking for a worn rarity or a glitzy common?

You could get 8-10 common date MS64s.
    Or 5 common date MS65s.
    Or one MS66+...... maybe a MS67.
    Or one G6 1894.
    Or one smoking 80s or 81s MS64DMPL
    Options are endless.

I think 1 or 2 nice coins....I'm seeing some 1882-S CACs for under $200 (maybe) which intrigues me.

I generally go for quality over quantity. :D

    Anybody got an 1882-S ? I'm seeing a few in MS67, 66, and 65 grades...can't find one in AU58.

Any thoughts on the quality at those grade levels and what I could expect to pay ?

I'm surprised that didn't go gold.
