Here's another of my $15 junk silver coins. This one is an 1894-O. It's a tougher date with only 1,723,000 originally minted. I can't complain about the condition for the low price I paid. I wonder if you can still find a coin like this in junk silver today?

I'd have sure laid down $15 dollars for that! Though that date has always seemed readily available to me in spite of the lower mintage figure.

You might be able to find one if you search long enough but you would pay more like $25 for the junk silver.

It pays to go through dealers "Junk" boxes. Not sure if that's where you got this coin, but they are still out there if you look. Nice job.

I remember reading somewhere about someone that found an 1854-O "Huge O" variety quarter in a junk box. Anything is possible, I guess.

$15 is a great price especially for an older date with no problems. Great buy!

That is a great catch! For 15 bucks, you got an honest, circulated example of what is normally a very difficult date. Nice going!
if that coin were in a higher grade, it would get quite pricey.

Pricey is the correct word but at $15 I just pulled out my wallet and paid cash. Lol
