That means that Washington will be removed from the quarter for up to 20 years. Jackie O refused to do it when she had the chance. Will Obama and Geitner?

Pretty sure it has already been decided since the bill was already signed into law.

Sure, why not ? After all, Teddy Roosevelt is a lot prettier than Susan B. Anthony.

Don't they currently have far more pressing issues than who is on the quarter dollar?

I would have preferred it to see him on the dime. This is too many Roosevelt's.

What do you want... =P In the spirit of change got to change all the figures to leftists. =) Pretty soon we will have Marx on our coins....

Though here is a question... is Marx featured on any coins?

Marx also figures very prominently in 110,000,000 gravestones.

Yes we do, but if they tack this onto another bill they'll get the coin collectors in congress to go along with whatever else is in store. Sad, but this is usually what really happens most times!:(

True, but the designs haven't been picked and the coins haven't been struck. All it would take is an amendment to a bill, that's how we got the Territory quarters and IGWT moved to the obv of the President dollar. Time is of the essence though because so the bill would have to be submitted and passed pretty quickly.

    Alright!

    Let's get it done.

It would be bully for the country and show some determination and grit. It's
much more appropriate for the parks than Washington.

The President responsible for the renaissance in our coinage on the obverse of the "new" renaissance coins? I believe my choice is obvious!:D
