Who might this coin belong to. I can make out athena on the reverse, overall the coins pretty busted. I really have started to attract broken indogreeks. Seems like no one wants to keep them.
The reverse is the goddess athena holding a fruit basket and probably a thunderbolt in the other hand.
Also, i have been trying with no luck of finding a resource to identify indogreek monograms. There seem to be different kind of monograms, but nowhere can I find them all listed and explained. Like for eg what king used what monogram.
"Fruitbasket" that's a new one ! I have seen it previously described as a birthday cake though. It actually is an aegis, which sometimes looks more like an animal skin, and sometimes more like a shields. There are some tables with which king used which monogram in specialist literature. The classic monogram list was made by whitehead. You may still see references referring to the monogram by their whitehead number.
