Dunno why anyone would need anything other than CoinTalk these days. If it doesn't get posted here, someone's going to link to it. :)

I use to subscribe to all of those, but over the years I've let the subscriptions expire one by one, now I don't get any.

With coin talk you can interact with others, but to me there is nothing more relaxing than sitting in your recliner and reading Numismatic News.

I have thought about dropping my subscription, just to save money and a tree.:)

For some reason I like to sit down and read magazines too. It is relaxing.

I like to read Coin World but have recently let my subscription lapse. I still go back and read the old ones. Also pick up a Coins magazine once or twice a month

I read Coin World, Coinage, Coin Prices and Coins magazine and of course reading posts here at CT.

I subscribe to Coin World (and Coin Values that comes with it). I also pick up an occasional Coinage magazine.

One periodical that you did not list is Numismatist magazine that ANA members get. (Being an ANA Life Member I have gotten that magazine for over 20 years.)

Another one that you did not list (and I subscribe to) is Coin Dealer Newsletter (aka the Grey Sheet).

Coin World, Coin Values, an occasional Coin Dealer newsletter and of course all the referrals from, here, at CoinTalk. (My favorite).

I have a subscription to Coin World but mostly for Coin Values.
There's not much content in Coin World that interests me.

And I get the greysheet but mostly for the pricing.
Their commentary is mostly about high end material.

I subscribe to CoinWorld and Coin Values. The price guide is off on CV but it is still a good magazine.

I am an ANA member, so I get Numismatist. I also get Coinage. It is a good read for guys who aren't into buying strictly high end coins. As a third shifter, these help me get to sleep at odd hours!

    Oops, I'm ANA too.
    Forgot about the Numismatist.
But not much there that interests me.

I read Coin World and Coin Values which comes with it. Sometimes they have interesting articles like the Capped Bust half dollar grading article in the April 09 issue (yes it really is the April '09 issues and today is Feb 1) of Coin Values. Lots of pictures all lined up while they explain the grades.

In addition, Q. David Bowers writes a column in Coin World called The Joys of Collecting, that can be interesting. I also find that Coin World will have articles about the various shows that are taking place around the country and gives some insight into what sold for what, and they discuss the hobby in general and always are looking at what the mint is doing. I also look at the ads from the various companies and sometimes that is good for a chuckle. :D

I have to agree on certain articles. But then again, they have to appeal to people all over the world.

(We are talking about the ANA magazine - the Numismatist.) Also, they have to appeal to collectors of all levels, from brand new collectors to expert collectors. That's a daunting task.

    None?

Sorry, but i find it hard to believe that 4 people said none.

Do any of you read refrence books?

Say: The Red Book? Breens? or anything?
    Like a grading guide?

I subscribe to none, but every now and then I pick up Coinage or World Coin News. I like Coinage's time capsules where they outline the major happening in history and coinage for a specific year. And World Coin News is so CHEAP!! But usually I waft through such magazines once and then into the bin they go.
