This eBay auction will be over before many of you read this. 1893 Isebel Quarter Commerative If genuine this "commerative" coin Grey Sheets at $480 in AU and $700 in MS-63. The current bid is $36 (plus $5 S/H). Do ya think anyone suspects this coin could be a counterfeit? The photos are too small for me to make a determination. I would stay FAR away from this one (except I might pay $10 or so for my counterfeit collection). I hope nobody bids this one up to the price of a genuine example.
Seller has interesting feedback. 99.4% on (1111) feedbacks! (Only 1 negative; no neutrals) Could this possibly be a Chinese seller of legitimate coins? I'm willing to spend your money to find out.
If he is a legitimate seller out of china he's probably one of two or three legitimate sellers, so odds are not good, even though I don't see any indicators on those two coins.
The coin appears genuine to me and if so, then I feel for the Seller! To have a $400-$500 coin sell for only $47, is a tragic loss. It is a shame that the few honest Dealers in China, have to suffer due to the actions of others! Frank
There appears to be some believers on this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Transylvania-15...ryZ45153QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I will not buy "authenic" coins from China, since Russian Roulette isn't one of my favorite games to play. :goofer: Ribbit
