    Leadfoot there is no spoon

    I like that coin MUCH better in a 58 slab than a 63 or 64 slab. ;)

You need photos? Have you ever seen the pics I take?

1916 MS62FH Ugly toning. Add that in there :) I think there's pics of it in NGC plastic on Heritage's site.

As far as this coin goes... I saw it around lunchtime today and it was at $110, now it says Reserve is $170, reserve not met.

    It's a $200 coin on a GOOD day.

I have a VF30 (PCGS so it's probably a 20 haha) 1917-P T1 in my hand right now with a better shield. Why on earth are you bidding on this coin?

I *THINK* this is the one. I don't keep this one at the house :)

Turns out it is PCGS plastic, go figure.

What is the certification number of your 1916 SLQ. Is it 4775569? If so, I will add the Heritage photos to our set.

You are correct that the coin has a reserve of $170 that has not been met, but I stand by my original statement that it will go for MS62 money. You just are not going to find an AU58 much nicer than this one.

For the record, I am not bidding on this coin. I have a 1917 T1 NGC MS65 FH with much nicer toning. No need for this coin. The only reason I would buy this coin would be for an album collection which I don't presently have for the SLQ series.

Heck if I know Paul, it's been reholdered and is going to cross over to NGC soon enough.

I'll dig it up next time I go to the bank, but I am 99.75% sure the coin I put up there is it, in an earlier life.

Good enough for me, I will add it.
