The Franklin Mint sell the Kennedy Half dollar with Obama taped on it for 9.95. Sounds like a over priced souvenir.

I've seen it and I think the cost is $26.50 with their shipping and handling and yes it is a rip but you and I were ripped much worse with the current economic meltdown. At least with the Obama coins you ended up with $2 in change. We see this (the Obama coins type of thing) all the time at the show or in local shops. Older people of new persons to the hobby buy this stuff and then get the bad news. It is sad because most older people can't afford this junk and the new persons to the hobby might well leave because of it. That is not fair and I for one could not ever sell people this junk - but your financial regulators, lenders and leaders plus government oversight officials ripped us all much worse in the last 10 years. After all this mess is over with we would be very happy indeed to only get ripped off for $24.50!

Well

actually in most cases the Middle Class ripped everyone off in this economic downturn. They got a bunch of houses, no money down, on the cheap, and then defaulted on them, sending the banks into termoil and now expecting Obama to bail them out.

Meanwhile, guy's like me who just work hard and pay their rent and don't even drive have gotten screwed.
