Orders have been suspended for new orders awaiting new pricing, I bet the UHR is going to cost more. Mine is still set for shipping on Febuary 6, but reviewing my order on the mint website, it casually says order has been suspended. I hope it ships on the 6th, I even payed for the expedited shipping, wow, I was a big spender the release date, wonder who will get their's first. Please advise when your coin arrives and we will see who on Cointalk is the first reciepent of the 2009 UHR coin.(pardon my spelling)

 

Shouldn't have opted for expedited Donny, at the price you are payin' they automatically upgrade the shipping.

 

I don't think there is any way to prove that "first strikes" are struck before others. The coins struck first could sit in the warehouse if they used a first in last out approach.

 

I got the express shipping also, Yea maybe its a free ungrade, But if I get mine first, I will be Gloating

 

My dads is pushed back to 2/20/09 and was formerly 2/6 . Also had to change CC as it expires before delivery. Customer service said 41 or 42 k ordered so far and she doesn't think there will be a problem with CC change. Makes me a little nervous.

Maybe. Maybe they will cancel some as blanks are supposedly hard to get. Or maybe gold will skyrocket and they will get melted. LOL

 

I guess we could say for sure then, they are not getting any cheaper, $50.00 increase in price due to spot.

 

Well, that shoots my 20k prediction out of the water. :headbang: Maybe it will stay under 50k.

 

If the mint ever lifts the "1 per household" limit expect it to go over 100k.

 

100,000 ounces would be cool.
I could then make a keychain out of mine...it might be to thick for the Salvation Army kettle next Christmas.

I don't fancy going to buy one of these wherever in however many months and see them listed as several hundred dollars higher than the mint price.

A bit like the 20th ani ASE sets.

All gone within weeks...have to play sooooooooo much more now to get one.

 

Well now the mint price has gone up $50 with the rise in the gold spot price.
Those getting in line now pay $1,239.

My guess of 100,000 appears to be on the low side.

I just got the following message from the Mint via e-mail a few minutes ago:

That's the same ship date I was given when I placed the order. Oh, well. We'll see if they ship on time.

 

My e-mail now states 2/17. Yesterday my account read 2/6. What a differance a day makes....
