Ok people my second Fugio came in today and I wanted to show it off and get opinions on what variety it is. So do you guys like it?
Geez, Garrett.....can't get enough of those Fugios, eh? Always nice to have more! What is the black stuff within the reverse rings?
Nope I can never get enough and probably never will. And I am hoping someone can tell me what the black stuff is.
I'd say it's a N13-X! :kewl: http://coinfacts.com/colonial_coins/fugio_cents/fugio_cent_n013_X.htm Love it! :thumb: Ribbit
This made me think of you...lol. http://cgi.ebay.ca/FUGIO-CENT-T-SHIRT_W0QQitemZ130283188516QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCoins_US_Individual?hash=item130283188516&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1215|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318
I like it but I'd find out what that gunk is to be sure it won't hurt the coin , hey Garrett is this the home Fugio ? rzage
The others would have been but I am not sure about this one. I am still watching more Fugios on ebay lol. :kewl:  Hopefully the black stuff is not harmful...
Bummer. Whatever, it is a nice fugio but I would rather have my $152 dollars back to spend on a nicer fugio. I was really wanting the club rays variety to add some diversity to my collection. Oh well I guess. I will send it back to them tomorrow as the seller has a 5 day return policy and it came in today. Thanks for your help everybody.
I returned the coin to the seller today. It cost my Mom $7.50 for postage and insurance. The seller said they didn't cover return shipping even though they had the coin mislabeled. They just apologized since I "wasn't happy with the coin." Do buyers usually have to pay return shipping if the seller makes a mistake and mislabels something? I wouldn't have bid at all on this Fugio if I had known it was a pointed ray variety. I couldn't tell by their pictures and they had it listed as club rays.
Most often the buyer gets stuck with the return shipping charges. And sometimes you can stuck with re-stocking charges too. You have to read all of the conditions carefully. Regardless of what the conditions are you agree to them when you bid on an item.
Were he to have received the coin described, you are correct. Since he received a coin not as described, the restocking fee will be waived by simply going through PayPal (assuming that is what he paid with since it is pretty well required now) and it might get waived for all by PayPal. However, he is pretty well stuck with the return shipping.
