Don't know what to make of this holed guy. A neat piece in my opinion. If it isn't rare I might make a necklace out of it.
WOW!!!!...VERY Nice coin. It is Greek for sure...I'll try to identify it tommorrow if no one else does..I gotta go to bed to wake up early for college..lol..otherwise I would do it right now. stainless BTW: For attribution purposes, do you have the size in mm?
This look like it? "Silver tetrobol, SNG Cop 412 - 415 var (various symbols), gVF, Ainos mint, 2.081g, 14.7mm, 0o, c. 405 - 357 B.C.; obverse head of youthful Hermes facing, wears petasos with row of beads above brim; reverse AINION, goat standing to right"
Thanks :hail:I just kinda stumbled across it,but I might be wrong though my first guess was way off, but my 2nd (jason) seems close too
I purchased it in a collection that came into my store. He said that he wore it as a necklace as a boy. I didn't know what it was worth but I bought a bunch of foreign coins and bullion coins and I just added it into the whole lot.
