I just received an e-mail from the mint saying that the 2009 rolls are now available from the mint for $25. each, but when you go to the website it says $35. each. Whats up with that?
You can get boxes of ten rolls of the current Presidential dollars and Native American dollars for "circulation" purposes, priced at face value, plus shipping. http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wc...1&parent_category_rn=16238&top_category=16238 Individual rolls are still $35.
I just re-checked the e-mail I just received from the mint. It say's nothing about buying 10 rolls. give me your e-mail address, & I will forward it to you. It say's nothing about a box.
a box of 250.00 coin or say 10 roll of 25 coin each. limit two boxes per household. selling at face value. all uncirculated. can be mixed with two mint mark. free shipping. good deal.
i have checked five local banks for them and none of the banks even knew that they could order them or if they were even going to order any . i quess that we will have to order them from the mint and sell them to the banks.
question on................ ............that's probably the best way to circulate them. seems the banks hesitate to order, even when made aware of the option to order. the public needs to be aware also of the dollar coins being minted. i often hold up check-out lines when i spend them at fast food restaurants or home depot or k-mart or etc. etc. get my drift?
I got mine thru the direct ship method thru the mint. i get them this way because it helps my rebate on my credit card without spreading my credit card all around town. So i get the best of both, i get look thru them and then spend the ones i dont want, plus i get my rebate added on card services. so im actually using credit card money on purchases if stores lines get a little long, how many are you spending in one transaction or dont look behind yah. the stores i go to dont even bat a eye at them, i guess i made them use to them. some cahsiers look for me when i come because they want some more and they know whats in my pocket.
