    Pic2 coins in (from top)2rx2c are nepali rupee 1rx3c i see atleast one coin which is a silver India rupee
    Pic3 the 4 coins at the bottom right are temple tokens.. :)
    i am curious what was he quoting? if u ever go to the holidays spots in india, u will find a lot tibetian/nepali folks selling brit india rupee from around 700-800INR or around 20$ most of them are always cleaned/polished but they seem to be geniune unlike the ones seen on the streets of Bbay ;)

    yep, some of them are just like the ones in south and east india... there are also other rules which prohibits pple from entering

    Some of the silver coins in the second picture look Tibetan.

    The medals are British military "War Medals" from World War II.

    I was in Katmandu in 1984 and bought a couple of Tibetan and Chinese coins
    from a street dealer. Maybe this guy's father?
