Has anyone purchased coins from this website? Just wondering because they have all 100 state quarters for about $70 and they are supposed to be brilliant uncirculated which is usually MS-63. I wanted to know if i can trust them.
Buy all 100 unc rolls at an average price of $15 each cost $1500. (Some early rolls will cost more, many of the later ones will cost less.) Sell 40 unc sets at $70 each = $2800 Profit = $1300 Down side risk, You don't sell any sets and lose $500. Number of sets you have to sell to break even = 22 sets.
the PARADE section of the NEWARK (NJ) star ledger has an adver. for Littleton selling the unc.set for $19.95 less folder. That's as cheap as I've seen them.
I'm not speaking as to your choice of coin dealer, but I've seen these all over the place for double face value; that is, $50 a set. BU doesn't have to mean MS-63, by the way. In fact, I've seen many MS-60 doggy coins advertised as BU. Even though it's a subjective term, "Choice BU" is typically reserved for MS-63-ish coins.
They can if they are only selling a 50 coin set and not a P,D set. Have to see the ad to know what they are actually selling.
