V75 Silver Eagle - If You Got 1 Will You Keep It or Flip It? & Why?

Mine was supposed to be here on Monday or Tuesday. Since then it has been on an extended tour of every post office sorting center in the greater DC metro area. Maybe tomorrow.

My coin shipped yesterday it says but the last few have been held up at the Memphis processing facility for a week or so

 

My V75 silver also went into Shipped status on 11/6. As of today, 11/11 it still shows as 'Pre-Shipment'.

 

Some of my coins have taken that tour of rural Maryland towns, only to miss the ones closest to me. Strange way of doing business.

 

I'm new to stacking silver so this will be my first big score. I've already had some insane offers. But it sounds as if this coin is much more valuable then I realized.

 

I'm in the mail order business and man you have no idea how backwards and silly our USPS really is.

 

Could it be? Someone admits to being a flipper?

 

I am tempted since for some of the prices I could get a Sovereign , on the other hand it’s my first West Point coin and I am slowly working on “one coin from each US mint” and this is a nice piece to add

 

Mine still says "processing" as of this morning.

 

Mine is "OUT FOR DELIVERY" for today. That has about a 50/50 chance of actually making it to my mailbox today.

 

I got one, but it is still "Processing".

 

I will keep it.

 

I did get one also - I hope yours ships!! Did u get charged for it? Im toying with the same idea on ending my ASE collecting; I'm still working on the proofs (incl the 95-W lol). I think I'd rather just complete my proofs + the early 2021 releases w/o the change, and then maybe one MS & one PF of the new release; just to have one. I think the Mint will just keep making all these special releases; making $$ hand over fist! I think I'll digress back to my Morgans - I find them a lot more interesting by far! I'm about 2/3 into a raw set with the highest grades I can swing + a complete CC graded set (my pride & joy). Cheers!

 

I did not try to get one. As much as it would be nice to have one, I don't do that anymore. I don't generally buy to flip. If I did get one I would get it graded and display it along side my Ike's.

 

Got one, flip baby flip. Was not able to get a gold. These are still randomly going on sale from the mint, by the way. Not always at the usual time either.

 

Mine's been shipped. I haven't seen the Brinks truck pull up my driveway yet. I'll probably get it slabbed and then sell it so I can use the money to fill slots in sets that I'm building.

 

What is the likelihood these will get milk spots?

 

Can you share how or who you are flipping to?

 

There's a buyer on the pcgs board paying $525 currently, and he provides a shipping label.

 

My LCS is offering $500. I will admit, it is very tempting.
