1982-P Lincoln MAD + Cud?

Hey Folks,

Here's a coin I just found. Seems to be a MAD and a cud. Are cuds with MAD common? Second question: is this coin worth saving? Seems like it's pretty environmentally damaged. What's the best method to preserve it?

I don't mean to sound dumb , but what is MAD ? So, is this a Mad Cud ?

That's the spot of the rim cud. The left side shows the MAD with the double rim look.

 

Just for clarification, it's a rim cud,
not a full cud.
