Based on a recent generous gift from a CT member I was inspired to throw a picture up. Most of these were circulation finds, including some of the nice 50's RD cents. I love them but I am not very good at finishing what I started as I have expanded my collection in other directions. Hoping to finish this in the next decade or so I also got an ANA grading book from the late 70's in this package, which was a surprise! Incredibly interesting as I love "old" books. I certainly was born decades too late. Anyways, I don't have much else to do so I might gunk up the boards today. Just in the mood to chat. -Evan
I have my generic lincoln cent folder that ends at 2009 with spaces for new issues. I wrote them in with sharpie Im waiting for a letter from a CT member which contains a 2020 D to catch me up entirely!
You have the right outlook. My Lincoln book was started about 1970. Those final holes weren't plugged until the early 2000's. And I am the sort of guy that goes nuts looking at empty holes in a coin book. Slow and steady wins the race. Looks great!
Thank you, Randy! In the mood to fill out the type set the past couple weeks. Anyways, I have time. I just don't want to wait too long in case the key date values soar.
What a wonderful gift! Start saving to get those holes plugged. Holes in albumns drive me crazy so I fill them as quickly as possible. I have a few I'm currently working on. Glad you posted this.
