Wasn't clear to me what the intent of the thread was. I initially thought you were driving at issues by local authorities to assert some form of independent rule not recognized by many other countries. I generally dismiss fantasy coinage but have a few.

Interesting! I guess the country was real but the regime was questionable and short-lived. For whatever my opinion counts for, I'd rather err on including too many types of examples on this thread than too few. I've enjoyed all of them.
Wikipedia says that the emperor spent 1/3 of the government annual income on his coronation. Even if it lasted, in doubt it would Be sustainable
The thread theme is quite vague. The formation of a monarchy by a military dictator who then declares himself emperor is questionable at best.
