If its still ancient I am good but will def want to mark it as what it is. Then I can teach others when they look at them what it is.
Yes, i have one I havent used in quite some time...the old pot head days...lol. i will break it out. I plan to take a day and go thru all my coins
What are the chances that one is barbarous? That was my first take. ...Regardless, @Everett Guy, you're getting some real traction. I'm impressed by the eye you've already got for this stuff.
I was pretty aggressive with my original comment. Barbarous is more likely IMO. Ironically some barbs sell for more than official issues
Thanks, @hotwheelsearl, for your followup. ...@Everett Guy, see? You've got the eye. ...Why wouldn't barbarous ones be likely to sell for more? @Tejas' recent thread, 'Denarius imitations from Taman peninsula,' got into just lately. Along with several recent threads, about 3rd-century barbarous radiates, and other ones earlier than that, like yours. On one hand, they're cool for their own sake; on the other, the earlier ones, at least, are scarcer than the official ones.
I like the term barbarous...lol. so thats maks 2 I got, the other one was the diva with the 25 year later but eairler hair style. I am glad to have them to my collection. Just wondering if they are common or hard to get?
