LordM Giveaway #48 (pick your prize)

Random drawing to be announced in early December, 2020.

This giveaway is now CLOSED. Winner announced in Post #105.

This giveaway is brought to you by Mindy, who is one half of our new "Mork & Mindy" foster kitten duo. She is a budding numismatist, and very eager, as you can see.

Hi, and welcome to the latest giveaway. If you don't feel like reading this whole intro, at least read the bold text for the basics.

Winner will receive a $25 credit from my swapstock inventory, plus free shipping.

*Note: that page can be very slow to load, so give it time. Free worldwide shipping is included- there are no strings attached and no purchase is necessary. Coins are, however, subject to prior sale before the drawing ends, so keep an eye on the list, which will evolve as I add new stuff and take away sold stuff.

If your prize selection(s) do not tally up to exactly $25, I’ll send you the remaining balance via PayPal gift, or additional freebie coins, if you prefer. If your selection(s) tally up to more than $25, you will owe me the difference, obviously. Your prize here is the $25 credit plus free shipping.

    To enter:

    1. Put the words "entry post" at the top of your first (and only your first) post to this thread. You may make as many conversational posts as you like, but only one entry post per member.

Exception: if you are a member over at Collectors Universe, you may also enter on the tandem giveaway thread over there, in addition to your entry here. All of the entries from Collectors Universe will be tallied here, thereby giving you two chances in the drawing, if you post on both sites. (Do please let me know who you are if you have a different username over there, just so I'll know.)

    2. Add something else that is coin-related to your entry post. It can be anything you want. You do not need to include a photo, nor do you need to know anything about coins. Your post just has to be coin-related somehow. Tokens, medals, paper money, etc. are also fine.

Note: If you do not see anything that appeals to you, or would prefer me to ship the giveaway item(s) to someone else, I am happy to do so.

There will be a LOT of new coins added to that swapstock list, hopefully by the time the drawing rolls around in early December. I just got a huge consignment from a dealer friend. It is just going to take me a long time to make a spreadsheet to send him, work out the prices between us, and then photograph and list all the new additions.

My latest Hobo - not a "true" Hobo (as it is more than likely mass produced and not hand carved), but I get a huge smile every time I see it on my desk.

This summer I restarted my collecting after 55 years. Helps me get thru being socially isolated - pandemic and widowed (wife died in May at age 71).
