It's one of my favorite modern coins. The Kazakhstan Mint is quite underrated in my opinion (I've been posting my collection from there and trying to build interest-it hasn't succeeded but that means more for me ).

 

Just did a quick search (including Vcoins) & found a plethora of Kazakhstan Mint coins. The turtle isn't the only fabulous specimen...& they're not that costly! I saw a 2013 "Int'l Space Station" coin that is pretty sweet.

I may have to start buying again!

You’re welcome! I’ve been meaning to get better photos of the last three coins (2013-2015) to show off the colors (and bump it for those that missed seeing it the first time around). There is also some news that the series is resuming this year which I will share on there.

Nice set. My favorites are the Texas Comm and the Hawaiian Half. Thanks for sharing.
