Sorry for raining on your parade, but this T$1 was cleaned to death. I’d recommend to avoid harshly cleaned coins, even if it’s for a Dansco or your “B” collection.

    I had a option of buying a fine 12 for 150 or au 50 details for 175 I'll take the au50 over fine 12

It also doesn't look as bad in person

Horrific coin to my eye. Looks like someone took a handful of gravel and scrubbed it to death. But if you like it, that's all that matters. Glad you're happy.

Even cleaned, I like it. Is this in the slab or after you broke it out? Some of the scratches could have been on the plastic. What company graded it and what grade?

The grade looks right, obviously cleaned but lighting can exaggerate the appearance of the cleaning lines. I'm glad it found a home with a collector who enjoys it. Might be a test mark next to star 13. Many of these were shipped to China and were chopped or marked in other ways.

It may look “nice” in the beginning, but soon you’ll realize it was a very bad choice.

I'm afraid you won't find many fans of that coin around here. Harshly, harshly cleaned. Your 1839 CBH was much nicer.
