The coin was issued by Vespasian and features Titus as caesar. The Vespasian of this type shows up in both left and right facing versions. The right facing one is not rare. This coin RIC 950 [VESP] uses the prow on the reverse. It is a reference to earlier uses of the prow on previous coins including Roman republican types and some imperatorial issues (Marc Antony) as well.
