I'd like to meet at the NY Coin Show this weekend. I'm thinking we can meet at Grand Central Station and get Dinner on Sunday, or we can meet for Breakfast or Both - Your Choice. Anyone in? Ruben
There is a great Steak House we can eat at if we want to on either late Saturday night or on Sunday. It's kosher but superb locate on 47th Street between 6th and 7th avenue off of Times Square. Ruben
Saturday no can do. Sunday works turns out I have plans sat nite for my stupid birthday. Is steakhouse le marais?
So - I just got into town and I'm wondering if we have a plan to meet this weekend at the Waldorf show in Manhattan? Ruben
I'll be there tomorrow, Saturday, between 10 and 11 AM if I have no trouble navigating the MTA (Long Island Railroad) and the subway system. After all, I am but a humble provincial....
its too bad you can't hold off until Sunday so we can meet. I'd go there and meet with you but your only planning one hour. Ruben
Actually Ruben, the hour I am indicating refers to travel time....I suck at getting around gotham. We will meet one day my friend.....
Ah - you see I didn't understand that. email me if you get this and are still in town. We'll grab dinner, or better call me 718-715-1771 Ruben
I went this morning. There were hardly any US coins there, and the few that I did see were all raw ASE's. You guys would probably hate it. But for me, it makes up for all of the other shows through the rest of the year where there's only one or two ancients dealers. It really was a banner show for me. Met a lot of dealers and gave my card to a number of them. Have a chance at a few good jobs too, I believe. And what would a show be without coins?
