I feel for you! I had a loosing streak of 10 outbids in four auctions. Finally ended up with getting 2 from Sincona/ this one from Leu. The Leu catalogues are beautifull:D

I blame @Roman Collector and his weekly Faustina Friday posts for this splurge buy :hilarious:

Congrats @panzerman and @Restitutor ! Both are excellent. I keep getting blown out of the water on the lots I want, so no luck for me yet...

Restitutor, That's a stunning MS denarius with a very poetic reverse design .

Congrats! There is plenty of detail on a small flan.
I was up at 7AM to watch the auction. No surprise, the one I was watching hammered well above my max.

not a coin, but I waited until about the end of the auction to nab this one. My addiction to scale weights and anchors overlapped.
    Seleukid anchor leu 10.25.20.jpg
You can find more than you ever wanted to know about scale weights on Pondera Online (pondera.uclouvain.be). My weight is already posted there -
    https://pondera.uclouvain.be/artifact/13355/

One quarter Mina (Tetarton) scale weight, Levantine region of Northern Syria, circa 250 – 100 BC.
Obv – Seleukid anchor, note that folks who publish this type anchor do not know which way is up. Some post it up, some down and a few post it both ways!
Rev – square lattice work with horizontal lines. Note I see more lattice work with lines on a 45 degree angle.
    VF
    Lead, cast
    51 X 53 mm
114 grams, I am not sure what one Mina weighs, but Pondera has many 1 mina weights in the 440 to 470 gram range. The median is about 450.
