Just found this inverted ball S serif with the ball on the bottom. Kinda cool because I haven't found any listings for it yet! IMG_20201023_015018239~2.jpg IMG_20201023_015003642~2.jpg IMG_20201023_015046338~2.jpg

Looks like the top of the S took a hit.
Maybe someone else will chime in.

@paddyman98 I'm going to have to agree with you there it doesn't look its a little flat on top. Other than that it looks like it's inverted IMO.

I was just looking at several images over on Coinfacts. The ball at the bottom of the S is normal.

I also think it took a hit.
Here is a proof that the lower S looks the same.

These are the images I was comparing to from Wexlers IMM list of the 1946 S . They look very close to the pics of my 69 S aside from the top of mine having take a hit and flattened out. 3c961235f8fd9d1ffff8454ffffe41e.jpg Normal↑↑↑↑↑-----Inverted↓↓↓↓↓ 3c961235f8fd9d1ffff8453ffffe41e.jpg https://doubleddie.com/1655200.html

You have a point on the inverted S but I would call the adjuster on that hit though . LOL
Whats that called " Hit and run " ?

Paddy Man's opinion looks correct to me also. Top of S looks flat like it took a hit.
