Help with identifying this coin found in coin star

    found this coin in a coin star machine couldn’t identify anybody have any ideas

    I would guess Egypt.

    Looks like Egypt, 1955, 10 qirsh. 0.625 silver! Nice find.

    Did you mean 1900 ? The date on the coin I showed is 1900

    Yes, I was confused when I first collected middle eastern/arabic coins, but it doesn't take long to master arabic numerals.

    Arabic coins can be a bit confusing with their numerals, especially when they use a
    combination of Western-style and Arabic numerals. This Algerian 5 centimes has
    AD dates in Western-style numerals on one side but the denomination with the
    Arabic 5 on the other. So at a first glance it looks like it's worth zero. Algeria 5 centimes 1970 copy.jpeg
