(Wrong Planchet error?) 1982 D Lincoln penny weighing 3.1 grams - next step(s)?

    I was wondering when some one was going to mention the 82-D copper small date.

    If you find a 82 d small date you will have the 2nd one known and possibly very valuable

    Yes. That means it is copper but slightly underweight. In 1982 Cents were struck in both Copper and Copper plated zinc planchets.

    A question to the forum what constitutes a close AM on the 1992 penny? I have one from each mint Denver and Philly.
