It depends on what you mean by this. If a strong magnet, when sliding under gravity, tarries a bit and does not fly off, that is confirmation that it is silver. If a magnet actually sticks to the coin, then you have iron (or nickel) in the coin. On a cupro-nickel coin (the most common metal for cheap fakes) the magnet will shoot off under gravity. This is the magnet test for silver.
Need to buy a cheap scale, not sure where to buy a cheap one that will work and won't break though lol
cheap scale is easy... you local headshop/potshop (if you in a legal state) will have them on the shelves for 10-20 bucks (digital generaly up to 1lb)
